Welcome to Love Spark. These Terms of Use & Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Love Spark website and your participation in Love Spark matchmaking, dating-readiness, consultation, coaching, networking, events, introductions, and related services.

By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry or application, scheduling a consultation, purchasing a service, completing an intake form, joining the Love Spark network, or participating in our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. ABOUT LOVE SPARK

Love Spark provides private, personalized matchmaking and relationship-focused services designed to help individuals approach dating and long-term partnership with greater clarity and intention.

Services may include:

  • Personalized matchmaking

  • Dating-readiness consultations

  • Relationship and dating guidance

  • Compatibility assessments

  • Personalized coaching and support

  • Curated introductions

  • Private matchmaking network participation

  • Matchmaking-related events and experiences

Love Spark is not a dating app, mass-membership platform, or automated algorithm-based matchmaking service. Our approach is personalized and may involve professional judgment, experience, and individual assessment.

2. MATCHMAKING SERVICES ARE NOT THERAPY

Love Spark matchmaking and relationship services are separate from psychotherapy or clinical services.

Love Spark matchmaking services are not:

  • Psychotherapy

  • Psychological treatment

  • Mental-health counseling

  • Psychological diagnosis

  • Medical care

  • Clinical treatment

Participation in Love Spark matchmaking services does not create a therapist-client or psychotherapist-client relationship.

Information shared for matchmaking purposes is not collected for the purpose of providing psychotherapy or psychological treatment and should not be considered a psychotherapy treatment record.

If you are seeking mental-health treatment, you should consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Love Spark services are intended for adults.

By using our services, you represent that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • The information you provide is truthful and accurate

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into agreements

  • You are voluntarily participating in the matchmaking process

  • You are genuinely interested in dating and/or pursuing a meaningful relationship

  • You will interact respectfully and honestly with Love Spark and other participants

Love Spark reserves the right to decline an application, decline participation, or discontinue services when we determine that participation is not appropriate for the network, service, or safety of those involved.

4. NETWORK APPLICATIONS AND PHOTOGRAPHS

Applicants may be asked to provide personal information and a current photograph as part of the Love Spark matchmaking application process.

Submitting an application or photograph does not guarantee:

  • Acceptance into the Love Spark network

  • Enrollment in a matchmaking program

  • A consultation

  • A match

  • An introduction

  • A particular number or type of introductions

By submitting a photograph to Love Spark for matchmaking purposes, you authorize Love Spark to retain and use that photograph for legitimate private matchmaking purposes, including reviewing your profile, evaluating compatibility, maintaining your private network profile, identifying potential matches, and presenting your profile to appropriate prospective matches.

When reasonably necessary to facilitate a potential introduction or evaluate mutual interest, Love Spark may share your photograph and relevant profile information with a prospective match.

Submitting a photograph for matchmaking does not authorize Love Spark to publicly use that photograph for advertising, social media, website marketing, or other promotional purposes.

If Love Spark would like to use your photograph, name, testimonial, or other identifying information for public promotional purposes, separate permission or authorization will be requested.

You represent that any photograph you submit is a photograph of you and that you have the right to provide it to Love Spark.

5. CONSULTATIONS AND ASSESSMENTS

Love Spark may offer consultations or assessments to understand your relationship goals, values, lifestyle, preferences, dating history, expectations, and desired partner characteristics.

A consultation may also be used to determine whether Love Spark services are an appropriate fit for you.

Participation in a consultation does not guarantee acceptance into the Love Spark network or enrollment in a matchmaking program.

Love Spark reserves the right to determine that its services are not an appropriate fit for an individual.

6. MATCHMAKING SERVICES

Depending on the program selected, Love Spark services may include:

  • Individual meetings and consultations

  • Dating-readiness work

  • Clarification of relationship goals

  • Exploration of values and priorities

  • Discussion of dating patterns and preferences

  • Compatibility assessment

  • Identification of potential matches

  • Curated introductions

  • Dating guidance and coaching

  • Follow-up and support

The specific services, duration, number of sessions, number of introductions, and fees applicable to your program will be communicated to you before enrollment and may be described in a separate service agreement or enrollment document.

7. NO GUARANTEE OF A MATCH OR RELATIONSHIP OUTCOME

Love Spark does not guarantee that you will:

  • Meet a particular individual

  • Receive an introduction to a person with every preferred characteristic

  • Receive a particular age, profession, location, religious, cultural, or lifestyle match

  • Develop a romantic relationship

  • Become engaged or married

  • Achieve any particular relationship outcome

Matchmaking involves personal preferences, individual circumstances, mutual interest, timing, availability, and factors outside Love Spark's control.

Any specific number of introductions or duration of service will be based only on the program or agreement you purchase.

8. COMPATIBILITY AND INTRODUCTIONS

Love Spark uses the information available to us and our professional experience and judgment when evaluating potential compatibility.

A prospective match may meet some, but not necessarily all, of your stated preferences.

Information provided by matchmaking participants may not always be independently verified. Love Spark does not guarantee that every statement made by another participant is complete, accurate, or current.

You are responsible for deciding whether to communicate with, meet, date, or pursue a relationship with another participant.

9. ACCURACY AND HONESTY

Participants are expected to provide truthful and accurate information.

You agree not to intentionally misrepresent or conceal material information concerning matters such as:

  • Age

  • Relationship or marital status

  • Children or family circumstances

  • Employment or professional background

  • Relationship intentions

  • Major lifestyle circumstances

  • Other information reasonably relevant to the matchmaking process

You agree to promptly inform Love Spark of material changes that could affect your matchmaking profile.

Love Spark may suspend or discontinue services if we determine that material information has been intentionally misrepresented.

10. PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

Love Spark handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Because matchmaking requires introductions and the sharing of certain information, you understand that information about you may be shared with prospective matches as described in the Privacy Policy.

Love Spark takes reasonable steps to maintain the private nature of its matchmaking services. However, once information is shared with another participant, Love Spark cannot guarantee that the recipient will maintain complete confidentiality.

You should use discretion when communicating with or meeting prospective matches.

11. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

You agree to interact respectfully with Love Spark and other participants.

You may not use Love Spark services to:

  • Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse another person

  • Engage in discriminatory or unlawful conduct

  • Misrepresent your identity, relationship status, or intentions

  • Solicit money or financial assistance from another participant

  • Use another participant's information for commercial purposes

  • Distribute another participant's private information without authorization

  • Record, photograph, or distribute private interactions without appropriate permission

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity

  • Use the Love Spark network for purposes unrelated to genuine dating or relationship intentions

Love Spark may suspend or terminate participation when conduct creates a safety, privacy, or other legitimate concern.

12. PERSONAL SAFETY

You are responsible for your own safety and judgment when communicating with or meeting another participant.

Love Spark does not guarantee the identity, character, intentions, background, honesty, compatibility, or conduct of any participant.

For your safety, we encourage you to:

  • Meet initially in a public location

  • Arrange your own transportation

  • Tell a trusted person where you are going

  • Avoid sharing financial information

  • Never send money to someone you have met through matchmaking

  • Exercise reasonable judgment and caution

  • End an interaction if you feel uncomfortable or unsafe

If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact emergency services.

You should promptly notify Love Spark of serious safety, harassment, fraud, or other misconduct concerns relating to the matchmaking process.

13. BACKGROUND INFORMATION AND DUE DILIGENCE

Unless specifically stated in writing, Love Spark does not represent that it conducts comprehensive criminal, financial, credit, employment, education, identity, or other background investigations of matchmaking participants.

You are responsible for conducting any additional due diligence you consider appropriate before entering into a personal or romantic relationship with another person.

14. FEES AND PAYMENT

Fees for Love Spark services will be communicated before enrollment.

By purchasing a service, you agree to pay the applicable fee according to the payment terms communicated to you.

You are responsible for providing accurate payment information and completing payments when due.

Any installment plan or payment arrangement is subject to the terms communicated at enrollment.

15. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies may vary depending on the service or program purchased and may be described in a separate service agreement or enrollment document.

Unless otherwise stated in writing or required by applicable law, payment for personalized services does not automatically become refundable because a participant does not achieve a desired dating or relationship outcome.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

16. PROGRAM DURATION

The duration of a matchmaking program will be based on the program purchased and the applicable enrollment or service agreement.

Where a program specifies a particular number of months, sessions, or introductions, those terms will apply.

Extensions are not guaranteed and may be offered only at Love Spark's discretion or as otherwise agreed in writing.

17. SCHEDULING

Appointments and meetings are scheduled based on availability.

Participants are expected to arrive on time and provide reasonable notice when they need to cancel or reschedule.

Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or failure to communicate may affect the timing or availability of services.

Any applicable cancellation or rescheduling fees will be communicated before they apply.

18. NO PROFESSIONAL OR LEGAL ADVICE

Love Spark services are intended to provide matchmaking, dating, relationship, and educational guidance.

Unless you separately retain a qualified professional for a specific service, Love Spark does not provide legal, financial, medical, or mental-health advice through its matchmaking services.

You remain responsible for your own personal, financial, legal, medical, and relationship decisions.

19. WEBSITE CONTENT

The Love Spark website and its content, including text, branding, graphics, logos, photographs, designs, videos, and other materials, are owned by Love Spark or used with appropriate permission or licensing.

You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, publish, sell, or commercially exploit Love Spark website content without prior written permission.

20. TESTIMONIALS, REVIEWS, AND PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS

Love Spark may invite clients or participants to voluntarily provide testimonials, reviews, photographs, or other promotional materials.

Any use of a person's name, photograph, testimonial, or identifying information for public promotional purposes will be subject to appropriate permission or authorization.

Submitting a photograph for private matchmaking purposes does not constitute permission for public marketing use.

21. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND SERVICES

The Love Spark website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services.

Love Spark does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, privacy practices, security, or policies of third-party websites or services.

Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

22. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability and functionality of the Love Spark website.

However, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from technical problems.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue portions of the website or its functionality when necessary.

23. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Love Spark website and services are provided on an “as available” basis.

Love Spark does not guarantee:

  • Continuous website availability

  • That the website will be error-free

  • That website information will always be current or complete

  • That a prospective match will meet your expectations

  • That information provided by another participant will be accurate or complete

  • That an introduction will result in mutual interest

  • That matchmaking services will result in a romantic relationship or other particular outcome

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

24. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Love Spark will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the website, matchmaking services, interactions with other participants, or inability to use the services.

Love Spark does not control the actions, statements, intentions, or conduct of matchmaking participants.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

25. INDEMNIFICATION

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Love Spark and its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Misuse of the website or services

  • Misconduct toward another participant

  • Violation of another person's rights

  • Unauthorized use or disclosure of another person's information

  • Interactions or relationships with other participants

This provision does not apply to matters that cannot legally be shifted to you.

26. TERMINATION

Love Spark may suspend or terminate your access to services when reasonably necessary, including for:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Materially false or misleading information

  • Abusive, threatening, fraudulent, or unlawful conduct

  • Safety or privacy concerns

  • Payment issues

  • Conduct that is inconsistent with the purpose of the Love Spark network

Termination does not eliminate obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including applicable payment, confidentiality, liability, and dispute provisions.

27. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

28. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If a dispute arises concerning these Terms or Love Spark services, the parties agree to first make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter informally.

Nothing in this section prevents a party from seeking emergency or equitable relief when legally appropriate.

If you have entered into a separate written service or enrollment agreement with Love Spark containing dispute-resolution provisions, those provisions may control to the extent of any conflict.

29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Love Spark may update these Terms from time to time.

When changes are made, the Effective Date at the top of this page will be updated.

Your continued use of the website or services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.

30. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.

31. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with the Love Spark Privacy Policy and any applicable service agreement, enrollment agreement, consent forms, payment terms, cancellation policies, or other written agreements, constitute the applicable understanding between you and Love Spark regarding the services you use.

If a specific written service or enrollment agreement conflicts with these Terms, the specific agreement will control with respect to that service.
